The Carnegie Mellon Informatics and Mathematics Competition (CMIMC) is an annual math and computer science competition hosted by Carnegie Mellon University students.
Our goal is to encourage interest in mathematics and computer science among high school students and to provide them with a challenging and educational experience.

Who can participate in CMIMC?
CMIMC is open to all high school students and younger from around the world. Teams typically consist of 4-6 students, but individual participants are also welcome.
How do I register for the competitions?
Registration is a two-step process. First, create a CMIMC account on our website by providing your username, email, full name, and a secure password. You'll also specify whether you're registering as a competitor or coach. After creating your account, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link to verify your email address. Once verified, coaches can create a team through their dashboard and send invitations to their team members.
Can I participate as an individual or do I need a team?
You can register either as an individual or as part of a team. Teams typically consist of 4-6 students. If you do not have a full team, you can opt in to team merging during registration. We will merge you with other teams who have selected this option to make a full team of 6.
